Kernel 2.4.20 does not recognize Elite 133X Compact Flash

Kernel 2.4.20 does not recognize Elite 133X Compact Flash
I am using a Kernel 2.4.20 and for Sandisk and Elite 4X, the kernel recognizes these devices, and I am able to format it and so on.
If I use an Elite 133X, the kernel does not see it.
My hardware has an USB-ATA conveter to connect the CF and the processor (PPC85xx family). Any suggestions?
