kdevelop missing plugins?
I have been searching the internet in vain for the names of the packages that provide the following plugins for kdevelop in Debian Squeeze. The missing plugins are preventing me from testing the written programs.
Missing plugins: 1) C++ support 2) kdevcvs 3) make builder 4) output view 5) QtHelp 6) Subversion The icons representing these plugins are all a question mark. I am assuming that means that they are missing. Needless to say, as it is, kdevelop is useless. Any hints are appreciated. Thanks. |
How did you install it ?
You make like to try uninstalling Kdevelop and then installing it again http://linuxappfinder.com/package/kdevelop |
I reinstalled kdevelop already and I am still having the same problem. I cannot debug programs or run them from within the IDE.
I searched on the kdevelop site for any hints without success of getting some insight as to what is preventing kdevelop from functioning properly. It is certainly a malfunction related to having missing plugins, but what are they? Surely, on this big forum, there must be some individuals who use kdevelop and who have it properly installed in Debian Squeeze. |
See if these help you:
http://www.kdevelop.org/mediawiki/in...op_4/compiling and http://home.gna.org/kdev-plug-lisaac/Installation I use Kdevelop but it is on OpenSuse 11.2 ! Consider this post as a bump to your thread. |

That means my post 4 has put your thread on the top of the thread list and thus now other members (who might have missed the thread) will be able to see it and thus help you.
and you can also try asking this problem to Kdevelop's mailing list. |
Thanks for replying.
I posted the same question on the kdevelop forum. |
