KDevelop 2.1

Has anyone successfully setup and used KDevelop for the SuSE distro? I have had no luck in this endeavour. I am using KDE 3.1.4, but the IDE does not seem to find the lib docs. I have tried to install the latest gideon, but it seems to think that SuSE 8.1 has a directory called susehelp in the cgi-bin area. It does not exist.

Could someone help out with this issue, or direct me to an IDE that works well?

Thanks...

I haven't used KDevelop on SuSE, but I have used both 2.1.5 and Gideon in Debian.

Do you have htdig and apache installed? htdig is an automated tool that indexes all the documentation on your system, and it relies on apache (at least for me). Maybe one or the other of those isn't installed, so KDevelop can't put your docs together.

Here is a little more information that may help the situation... It would appear that I cannot create a project successfully; the project would be without the .configure file. I can still compile Qt programs, but not create Qt projects. Yesterday I downloaded QtFprot and opened it up in KDevelop and built it with success...

What is the problem with this IDE? I have re-installed it with no success... I have applied 2.1.3 and 2.1.5. 2.1.5 will work the same as 2.1.3, but all of the documentation that comes with KDevelop does not exist....????

Does someone have any insight?
