kde users this is for you

Hi all,
I have a kde specific question. I would like to ask you if I can assign a shortcut to the key mixers channel selection.
I am listening to music either from the usb speakers or from my headset (two different output devices in pulse).

The think is that there are times I want with my mute, volume up and down keyboard buttons to control either the usb speakers or the headset.

Problem though is that my keyboard buttons typically correspond to the selected channelfrom kmix. If I can have a shortcut there I could toggle them by using a button.

Can I do somethink like that in linux?
Alex

Sorry I don't have a full solution on hand, but if there's a command that will do what you want, you can make a keyboard shortcut or desktop icon that leads to it. I can fiddle with it and figure it out tomorrow if it helps

I also had a short look but it does not look that there is a command for that.
It is too bad that we have pulse and at the same time we can not redirect output and volume settings with shortcuts
