Kde TaskBar like Gnome with Virtual Desktop (Hide program's tab sent to otherDesktop)

Hi everybody!

I use kde 3.3 as window manager. It's wonderful and really powerful.
I also tried Gnome and I think that also gnome is a good dm.
But I prefere kde. One wonderful thing of linux is that you have a lot of choises to do the same
things. So I choose kde.

One feature that gnome has and kde doesn't (or maybe I did not found..),
is the ability to completly hide program's tabs on the taskbar when programs are sent to
another desktop.

This feature is really useful when you have to use a lot of applications at the same time, so
you can forget applications you are not using but restore them easly when clikking on the
application's desktop, and you don't have to keep tousands of apps on the same taskbar.

Is there a plug-in or something else to add this feature to kde???

Thank you.

Hi fax,
That is a feature available in KDE. Right click on the taskbar. Click on 'Configure Panel'. In the sidebar of the window that apears, click on 'Taskbar', remove the 'X' from in front of 'Show windows from all desktops', Apply.
check out KDE-Look.org and KDE-Apps.org for tons of great stuff for kde.
