KDE screensaver lock time limited to 300 seconds
Maybe this is supposed to be this way, and maybe it has been this way for a while, but KDE won't seem to let me increase my "require password to stop" time above 300 seconds (300 is as high as it will go).
I want it to lock after 20 minutes, not 300 seconds, but I'm not allowed to type a value or increment the value (via the arrows) above 300. What gives? Am I the only one having this problem? If not, is there a way around it? I'm running openSUSE 10.2 with KDE 3.5.7 release 52.1. |
My counter goes past 300. Maybe yours is a limitation imposed by your distro. Try putting the time you want in the config file. You may find it in your .kde/share/config folder, the file you want is: kdesktoprc find this section:
[ScreenSaver] Enabled=false LockGrace=xxxxx <- Put your time here. Now check if the setting has been applied for require password to stop section. |
