KDE Problems

Hi,
I'm running the Thinkpad T40 with the ATI Mobility 7500 32mb Vid Card. And KDE doesnt load. It quits back to the log in screen when its 'initiazling peripherals'. The funny thing is that GNOME works perfectly. I'm using the VESA driver, 24bits, 1024x768 in the XF86Config-4
Got any suggestions? Even though GNOME is aight, I really want KDE to work. Same of the errors were like a fatal IO error, making it quit.

THanks
