KDE Pager applet trouble with opensuse 10.3 and compiz-fusion

I installed Compiz-Fusion onto opensuse 10.3, but I mainly use KDE. Everything works great except the pager applet which instead of the four desktops it should have, it has 16. I tried to right-click and configure desktops, but it still says there are four desktops. I don't know what to do and it takes up a good quarter of my panel. Can anyone help me? I guess I could just remove the panel, but it would be nice if I could keep it. Any help is appreciated!

Run the CompizConfig Settings Manager, select General Options--> Desktop Size tab--> Number of desktops, set to 1 or reduce as needed.
