KDE(Konqueror) problems
Konqueror has been throwing up these messages "There has been a configuration error. Konqueror is associated with inode/directory, but it can't handle this file type." This started after Konqueror crashed when I opened a Konqueror config dialog. Konqueror exited with a SIGSEV error but the config box still poped up. When I closed it(didn't change anything), the messages started to appear whenever I click on links to filesystems and devices(like my cd-rom). I have upgraded from Fedora 1 to 2 but the error in config still exists.... help please.
when you upgrade kde you should just go ahead and delete the entire directory .kde in your home folder
rm -R ~/.kde
the newer programs can't read the old files
then when you log back in you will get the configuration wizzard and a new set of clean files to work with
My browser freezes when I change the 'View' mode to, 'Detailed List', and 'Tree' options! I don't even know what version I have, but the install is Mandrake 10.
