KDE Kicker

My kicker menu is ugly.

It's the style where the menu is tabbed and there is a search bar at the top of it.

I want the old style kicker menu where it just listed categories and that was that.

Anyone know what I need to do?

Right click on the menu button and choose "Switch to KDE menu style".

Which ver. of KDE are we discussing?

I find no "Switch to KDE menu style" in KDE 3.3.2 (yeah, I know it's old.)

I think he meant some sort of KDE version that has SUSEs Kickoff menu (Its in some of the KDE 3.5.x releases from some distros). Thats the one thats tabbed with a search bar on top.

If you are strictly using the distros listed in your LQ profile, then I don't think they have the kickoff menu. openSUSE 10.2, Sabayon and Linux Mint KDE use this menu by default.
