KDE huge fonts

i have just installed slackware 9.0 and installed KDE 3.1 with it, when i first started KDE all the fonts were huge (100px tall or so on most web sites, most menus were like 50px or so), i have fixed most of it by changing the default font sizes for KDE and konqueror to 4-6 pt and that shows up as normal sized font for most stuff, but i still get the huge fonts on certain websites (like winehq.com), gftp, running open office through ssh, and a few other programs and websites (like bold on some sites is huge)

what is causing this and how can i fix it?

and one more question, how do i enable graphical login?

my screen res is 800x600(laptop, can't go any higher), but i don't will make that will make that big of a difference

Don't know about the huge fonts but to make graphical login just change /etc/inittab:
Code:
id:3:initdefault:
to

Code:
id:4:initdefault:

In KDE Control Center, do you have Internet & Network > Web Browser > Fonts configured for Minimum and Medium font size?

thanks, i got the graphical login working and it has the huge fonts (its window/box that you login goes off screen too)

and yes i changed the fonts (it fixed most apps and web pages), i changed it to 4-6pt (like 1 or 2 pt above minimum, the minimum sizes too small to read[even set at those tiny fonts some pages show huge fonts and apps show huge fonts]), but that only seems to affect kde menu and kde config stuff, apps like gftp and others that i run over ssh have huge fonts (it's not the other computer when running the programs over ssh, i have used the same screen res on the same computer with rh 8 and gnome and it worked fine)
