KDE gas plant

I just installed kde on my system and it came loaded with a whole bunch of soft that i would never use or that i found another better soft
I tried to remove some of them with synaptic but each time it told me that i had to remove kde because of dependency, is there a way to safely and cleanly remove them?

Which software are you talking about? It may be that KDE depends on some of it.

Kaboodle is part of the KDE multimedia package.......................taking it out
would not be a good idea as there are some library files that KDE
needs to operate properly..........
