KDE desktop borders...
My problem is this:
I have seen the new Google Desktop, and I wanted to try to recreate something like it in KDE by using superkaramba.
Is there any way to set the maximum maximization of a window? So that if I had stuff on the desktop for easy access I could tell KDE to always show that portion, as if there is an invisible panel.
Example:
____________ ____________
|xxxxxxxxxx| |xxxxxxxx| |
|xxxxxxxxxx| |xxxxxxxx| |
|xxxxxxxxxx| |xxxxxxxx| |
|xxxxxxxxxx| |xxxxxxxx|_|
The first is the desktop with a maximized window.
And the second is the maximum that I want the window to be able to expand.
This way, I would be able to have some custom widgets on the desktop that can function similar to Google Desktop, or do something else.
Any ideas on how this is done (or if it can be done)?
