KDE Desktop

I'm looking for programs like KDEWorld (kde world clock) that can be run as a desktop background. I'm not too sure where to look for stuff like that, i.e. programs that run as part of the desktop. I've checked kde-look, kde-apps, kde.org, and I'm just not finding anything or I'm not looking for the right thing the right way. I know this may sound kind of a silly request, but it's also to kind of show off KDE to some 'wynbloz' cronies at work that just swear that Linux is a 'hard' thing to learn and customize.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks in advance.

Both of these look pretty 'kule' and I'm going to play around with the SuperKaramba. I was more along the lines of something like this desktop background. The background is the program "kdeworld clock". Looking for something like that.

That also up the question, can I run Gnome programs in a KDE environment and vice versa?
