kde bindings

I have a working KDE version that I installed from source. Now I wanted to
install kdelibs.

./configure--prefix='/opt/kde/' --with-pythondir='/usr/local/python'

I get:

Python or it's development files were not found. Qt and KDE bindings for
Python will not be built.

KDElibs is version 3.3.2 and Python version 2.4.

kde3.3.2 might not support python2.4. Try using 2.3 untill more apps support 2.4.
