kde app always on top

hiya,

i use xmms running in kde. i always change the window so that it is always on top (using the 'keep above others' option in the window decoration). is it possible to load the xmms with this option already set? is there an xmms setting which could handle this instead?

many thanks,

mike

Hi,

You could try using the window-specific settings in kde:

right click on your xmms title bar, and go to "configure window behavior"
select "window specific settings" from the options pane on the left,
click on "new", then click on the "window extra" tab;
change the "window title" option to "substring match", and type xmms as the window title;
next go to the "preferences" tab and check the "keep above" option, and set it to "force". That should do it..hope this helps

thanks for your reply.

i found an option in xmms itself to force the window on top. if you right click and go 'options' it's there.

<- turns red!
