KDE and minimised windows fault
Hi. First of all - Happy Newyear to all at LinuxQuestions.
I have just moved to Debian as my main distro (installed using the latest Knoppix live cd and apt-get). My first impressions are that Debian is fantastic. However I have come across a small problem in KDE. When I open a window its name doesn't appear in the taskbar. This is not major but is bloody annoying. I have tried trashing the .kde file in my home directory in case there was a corrupted config file but that didn't help. So, any ideas? All the best will103 |
In KDE's panel config there is a check box for Showing only minimized windows.
There is a box for Show windows for all desktops too. Just in case you had not already looked at that. |
teckk, you were right. I deleted one of the pagers in the panel yesterday and that probably caused the problem. I reset the panel to default settings and it works fine now. Thanks for your help
