KDE 3 not as it should be

I accidentally unplugged my ps2 mouse and my KDE 3 desktop went crazy. Now I'm missing lots of menus. Is there any way of resetting KDE 3 to its default settings? Could I delete myself as a user then readd myself?

you don't need to do that. You can just remove the kde files from your home folder

this should do it

rm -rf ~/.kde

That's a good one to know but it hasn't solved my problem. But...it got me to thinking. The wrong button was on my panel. I don't know why unplugging the mouse would do that...but hell! It's all back now :-) a lot of panic about nothing. Thanks DavidPhillips - I now have a new command in my little red linux book.
