KDE 3.5 and SUSE 10.0 OSS
 
How do I install all of the KDE 3.5 packages at once. I am still a novice and am not sure how I can upgrade from 3.4 to 3.5 . I am running SUSE 10.0 OSS.

If you'd searched the forum you'd have seen that this has been covered numerous times but here goes.

Run this:

sudo installation_sources -a ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/supplementary/KDE/update_for_10.0/yast-source
Now go to the YaST -> Software Management panel, Search for KDE and qt* packages and select those for upgrade. Click next, wait a couple of hours for them to download and then click finish when completed, then restart the X windowing system (rcxdm restart)

Dear Kim Vette, thanks for your help. I did do a search for KDE 3.5 but it did not highlight the installation.
