KDE 3.2 upgrade made some changes I do not like
I think the things I hate the most are two. On in the console it now says bash and not my username. Is there a way I can fix this? Second when loading the console I get this error:
Font '-misc-consile-medium-r-normal--16-160-72-72-c-80-iso10646-1' not found Any ideas? |
I don't think that's related to KDE, although that is possible.
These may be related to Konsole app though. Try changing the "schema" of it to use a different font. Also try to open a different type of shell in Konsole. If that fails try changing your default shell for your username. |
Check out this tip.
http://www-106.ibm.com/developerwork.../l-tip-prompt/ You can make that prompt sing. You may have to type in Code:
source /etc/profile Hope that helps. Later :D :D :D :D hmmmm, this works in Gentoo, should work in them all. |
Go to the properties of the Konsole button. Under Application->command change konsole to konsole --ls
I still haven't got the font issue fixed. : ) |
that worked thanks.
