KDE 3.2.1 Hiccups

I installed KDE 3.2 on my SuSE 9 box. The installation when fine, I changed the data in my ~.profile and it booted into 3.2. Awesome. When I clicked on the K Menu, all the letters marked with a underscore were green. I searched some forums and someone had the same problem and said it was related to themes possibly. When I changed my theme, the green is gone, but now everything that has an underscore, now has a (!) in front of it. i.e. "Run (!) Command..." Can anyone help? Thanks!

Dan
