KDE 3.1.2-0.fdr.3.rh90 Maximised Programs Missing

I recently upgraded KDE to v 3.1.2-0.fdr.3.rh90 (thank you Synaptic!).

Since then I have found that whenever I have a program open, I don't see the 'button' on the taskbar. The only way to know which programs are running is to minimise them, or switch between them.

This is not a huge problem - everything runs fine (although I would love to have the 2.5 kernel so I can get my DigitalDreams Epsilon 1.3 camera running! - but that's for a different post

)

Has anyone seen this happen and does anyone know of a fix?

In the Control Center / Desktop / Taskbar, there's a setting for Show Only Iconified Windows. Make sure that is unchecked.

Darn it - I had hoped it was something difficult and complicated (maybe involving proramming) so that I don't feel like a muppet!
