I've downloaded all of thr kde 3.0 rpm files, but my Question is,, once thats done, in what order does one install them in???
there are like 100 rpm files..
anyone,, ?? help
That trick didn't work for me. I had to dig around and find the dependencies and conflicts. I took a few notes of what I did, but they aren't complete. The notes I took say that I took this order:
libxml2
libxsh
kdelibs3 <- These two might
qt3 <- be backwards
kdebase3
Somewhere in there was librpm and somewhere I had to uninstall
a version of one of those that was newer than the one on KDE3
and then install the older version. I can't remember exactly what it was but I remember it was giving me conflict errors. That should get you started.
