Smile kaudio creator can't find encoder

Dear all,

I am trying to rip some home made sound tracks recorded onto CD using kaudiocreator. I am not infringing any copyright in doing this.

It goes through ripping then encoding process but fails with

'the selected encoder was not found'

I am trying to get the sounds from a cd onto my mp3 player, so using mp3 as the chosen encoder. Do I have to use MP3 or can I use another encoder to do this job? I tried ogg vorbis but it failed with the same error.

Thanks for any help

Greeb,

Do you have the proper encoders installed? Even though the encoders are being listed, you might have to install the encoders as dependencies to the program.

Awesome. Mark your thread as solved if you can, and give rep if you are up to it, thanks!
