K9copy help

I am running Ubuntu Dapper with the Gnome interface. I am trying to install K9copy but am ready to pull my hair out. I try both from source and repositories and get this:

Depends: kdelibs4c2a (>=4:3.4.3-1) but it is not installable

How do you get by this error and get it installed and working. Has anyone gotten K9copy and Ubuntu to work togther. Please help. Thank you.

looks like k9copy is looking for the kde libs... install kde and see if that helps.

i have found the entire *buntu project to be very disapointing for getting anything NORMAL to install other then what comes with the base install. very frustraiting so i just went back to pure Debian and said forget *buntu.

I tried this too, but with a disaster. I had all the requirements, except vamps, I did a yum and got that. Still, it quits with a complaint about not finding DVDAuthor. Look:
However, he spells this DVDAuthor. Is that an issue? Where is he looking, mine is in /usr/bin, right where I would expect. Any help?
