k9copy guide and Ubuntu repository
As a dual boot person, I find myself try to limit my windows use less and less. But I still have to go back every now and again. One reason I will always need windows is games(right now it is BF2) and another is DVD backup. The reason I'm posting is the second. I have tried DVD Shrink(w/ DVD Decrypter) in wine and it works just fine. It just seems a little slow. Then I heard about k9copy. I thought great, a native linux app to do the same thing. But my problem is it always seems a fail at the end of the process.
Does anyone know of a good guide and reliable deb repository? My current distro is Ubuntu 5.10 so that will affect the repository choices. I already have k9copy on my desktop(but I screwed around and added official deb repositories, taking my chances). I just need a stable Ubuntu repository for my laptop. But my main concern right now is a guide that is good to help me out. THANKS! |
