I just setup slack 9.1 and I love the package tool. I downloaded the k3b-0.10.1-i686-1.tgz file for slackware and tried to run the K3bsetup. I see that the device list is empty so I try to add a device. It pops up with /dev/ so I add sr0 and it tells me 'Could not find /dev/sr0'.
Anyway, I have lilo using the append="hdc=ide-scsi" and I can see the drive when I do 'cdrecord -scanbus'

My fstab uses '/dev/cdrom' and the symlink looks like this 'cdrom -> /dev/sr0. Here's the line from my fstab...
/dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom iso9660 ro,noauto,user 0 0
Any help would be great.
