k3b will burn, but not rip

k3b will not rip my cd's.

I select a track off of my burner drive, select copy, pick a place to put it and hit copy.

It tells me later that it cannot read from track 0.

I have no trouble reading and writing to the drive normally.

The audio CD is fine and has not scratches.
