k3b ummm...just doesn't burn

I installed k3b and wanted to burn some mp3s to a cd. I put them in a new project and hit Burn. It ripped all the tracks to .wav format but it just doesn't burn them. Nothing happens it just stays at 50% complete. Just to test what was going on I used the 'Erase CD-R' option to see if k3b was even recognizing my cd burner. It spun and everything went as planned.

This doesn't work with data either. I don't know if I have to mess around with any options or what. ho-hum

<EDIT>
Don't mind me I'm an idiot. I'm ashamed to say what the problem is but just in case anybody else has a problem like this make sure the cd in the drive wasn't already written to.

I burned a bad Gentoo cd 6X before I figured out what was up. It would claim it was done after like 2 secs. Turned out, I was trying to burn an ISO that I had cancelled the download after like 10 secs, rather than the full image that was located in another directory ;)
