Another day, another question it seems.
I just installed the latest K3b 0.11.12, cdrdao 1.1.9, and cdrecord 2.1a29 packages, and produce this error when I try to burn a Iso image:
Code:
System
-----------------------
K3b Version:0.11.12
KDE Version: 3.2.3
QT Version: 3.2.3
cdrdao
-----------------------
Cdrdao version 1.1.9 - (C) Andreas Mueller <andreas@daneb.de>
SCSI interface library - (C) Joerg Schilling
Paranoia DAE library - (C) Monty
Check http://cdrdao.sourceforge.net/drives.html#dt for current driver tables.
Using libscg version 'schily-0.8'
ERROR: Inquiry command failed on 'ATAPI:/dev/hdc'.
ATAPI:/dev/hdc: Rev:

ERROR: Cannot retrieve write parameters mode page.

cdrdao comand:
-----------------------
/usr/bin/cdrdao write --device ATAPI:/dev/hdc --driver generic-mmc:0x00000010 --speed 24 -n -v 2 --eject --remote 18 /tmp/kde-cohobin/k3brheJRb.tmp.cue
I googled around for my burner but haven't found anything on it. I am trying to load the generic-mmc-raw driver (by specifying my burner in the /usr/share/cdrdao/drivers file) but that does not work either.
I have the ide-scsi, and ide-cd modules loaded; as most of the other posts say to do to fix problems with k3b.
Any suggestions?
