I am running RH9, KDE 3.1-10, qt-3.1.1-6. ./configure runs ok, make returns the following error:

/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -laudiofile
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[3]: *** [k3b] Error 1

I do have the kde*, and kde*-devel packages installed. Does anyone know what I'm missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I believe that you need to install the package libaudiofile or libaudiofile0.

Try the command 'locate libaudiofile' to verify that you don't have it.

may be u need audiofile-devel package???

I needed to install the audiofile-devel package and it worked fine!
