K3b is corrupted, how do I delete and reinstall.

Note: K3b corrupted, that's it.

I tried to download Ubuntu 2 different times (via torrent), but was unable to write it to DVD (ISO Image, yes I know). Said I did not have a valid file. This was discussed in the "Newbie" section.

So, I downloaded from LQ (iso) and tried to copy to DVD. Received message: K3b corrupted.

Question: How do I reinstall K3b so it is not corrupted?

Operating system is SUSE 11.1 using KDE, but not for long.

I am NOT computer literate so please explain the procedure exactly if you have time.

You don't burn ubuntu to a dvd. It's a cdrom iso image.

To remove K3b use

rpm -e k3b command

then download k3b
you can download it from http://packman.links2linux.de/package/k3b

after downloading rpm for k3b install it using following command

rpm -ivh k3b-1.0.5-0.pm.7.i586.rpm

Thanks xmag for for answering the question, I don't understand these things very well.
