k3b, cdrecord, 2.6.9 kernel
Hi
Since updating my kernel from 2.6.5 to 2.6.9 I've been having many problems with getting cdrecord to work properly. Is this a kernel issue and if so how can one get round it? Thanks kinus |
Check the K3b site, last i heard K3b wasn't working with 2.6.8 and higher.

I use K3B and 2.6.9 without problems at home (at least for now).

LauroMoura are youusing k3b as root or as user. it should work fine with root but if you try it as user it will give you errors/
|
I run K3B with 2.6.9 as user and it works fine, Im on Fedora Core 3 with Gnome
|
thats because redhat probably put a patch or a something int here, if you download the generic kernel source it wont work.

Sorry the mistake. I was using with kernel 2.4.26 (default in slack 10). I was using kernel 2.6 right before reinstalling all system (and moving back to 2.4).
