k3b 0.11.14 on FC3 fails in ripping one particular CD

I am running k3b 0.11.14 on FC3, kernel 2.6.9-1.678_FC3. I have no problems ripping all CDs except for this particular one. I encounter these error messages only on tracks 26, 27, and 28:

scsi_read error: sector=248298 length=24 retry=0
Sense key: 5 ASC: 21 ASCQ: 0
Transport error: Illegal SCSI request (rejected by target)
System error: Invalid argument
scsi_read error: sector=248298 length=12 retry=1
Sense key: 5 ASC: 21 ASCQ: 0
Transport error: Illegal SCSI request (rejected by target)
System error: Invalid argument
