JRE and j2re


Just wondering if there was a difference jre and j2re....i downloaded the jre lately because, i couldn't find the j2re anywhere...can somebody post a link where i could download these plugins....thanks...btw I couldn't find j2re at the official sun java site...

Ok there is a difference between the 2...i guess one of them is a developer one and the other is end user one...not sure just my guesses....http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download.html is where i found the correct rpm...all along i was using the jre crap...whatevers the case hope this helps the next noob...
