Java Script Menus in Mozilla

There are certain websites that use javascript menus for example www.dillards.com that when I put the cursor over them open up just fine. But then when I try to select the menu item it just clicks back off of the menu. I checked in my prefrences and javascript is enabled. Is there anything else I can do to get mozilla to work with these sites. Using Mozilla 1.2.1

Thanks,

John

have you installed Java? while it may be checked to be available, it is not installed by default. Checkout SUN for the java package.

I have java installed and the plugins set up. It only does it with certain sites menus. Others it doesn't have any problem with. When I scroll over the menus at a site like www.abercrombie.com I can actually see the web link on the bottom of the screen but when I try to click it it just clicks off of the menu.
