java problem


hi folks

currently i am using suse 10.0

but i am not able to compile and java programme

is there any sdk is needed for this

please explain

You need the JDK.

Try java.sun.com

Open YaST and search for java. I think on the install if you don't tell it to install the jdk, it will only install the jre.
