I am attempting to install ctorrent on CentOS 5.3 and am getting some errors. After un-tarring and cd into the created directory, I run the command ./configure && make and I receive some errors.

I have looked through config.log and am having trouble figuring out what to do next. Any/all help is GREATLY appreciated!

- Building software as root account user is not good: please use an unprivileged user account.
- All the "checking for... no" means you don't have the required build-time dependencies installed. Start with installing the "gcc-c++" package through Yum.
- Saying you have "looked through config.log" is great but doesn't show use what's there. Next time consider posting excerpts you think are relevant or attaching the log.
- Ctorrent for CentOS 5 is in the karan.org and EPEL repo's. Any compelling reason for not using those?
- This forum supports tags to make it easier to scroll through slabs of output. Please consider using BB code next time for large listings.
