ISOLINUX Problem ...?? ...
 
I have an HP desktop that I have had little success in installing Linux. I have installed Libranet and Lycoris period. Any other distro ... I believe I am having ISOLINUX boot problems since I never seem to be able to get beyond the OK .. I am loading the kernel comment at the very beginning of the install process. I tried the SBOOTMGR to no avail. Is this a BIOS problem / a motherboard problem ?? I have an Intel Celeron chip. Any help , most appreciated. Tks, Emmett

Not to sound insulting, but did you check the md5sum of these .iso files?

Are you positive that the media is not corrput?

Have you tried installing from this media on another machine?

Have you tried installing in safe mode?
