ISO to bootable flash drive

This is probably a common question, but I cannot find a specific answer to this question by Googling: how can I make a bootable flash drive from an ISO file of a distro (in this case, Knoppix 6)? I have downloaded the ISO but do not have an optical writer drive of any kind. Could I use the ISO file to create a bootable USB flash drive?

ISO to bootable flash drive - FIXKP2

http://www.pendrivelinux.com/usb-knoppix-510/

I've used this program successfully to create knoppix 5.1.1 modified iso's, it might work with knoppix 6. It successfully partitions, formats and creates the boot instructions to load an iso that you place in the directory for it to use. It's a Windows [shudder] program.

Yes, it worked. I'm typing this message from Iceweasel in Knoppix 6, booted and running from a USB drive. So I can confirm that the instructions contained in http://www.pendrivelinux.com/usb-knoppix-510/ do work for Knoppix 6, if you have an ISO downloaded from the Knoppix website, or a mirror site. However, I did construct this bootable USB of Knoppix using Windows XP because, as you say, it is a Windows program. Cannot confirm whether it would work if I was doing it from Wine.
