iso opener for opensuse 12.2 KDE
Is there an ISO opener for Opensuse 12.2 KDE?
Thank you Jonnynitro138 |
mount still works, just mount the ISO on loop
Code:
mount -o loop <file_name> <mount_point> |

Thank you
And this is funny :) "What can only be described as Microsoft Windows 64-bit implementation of a 32-bit extension to a 16-bit graphical shell for a 8-bit operating system originally coded for a 4-bit microprocessor by a 2-bit company that can't stand 1 bit of competition." May I use it? |
Sure :)

Some distro's also open an iso automatically.

I was looking for something I used a long time ago on knoppix 5 something, it was called magic iso or close to that name.
I am not quite sure what <mount_point> is; how do I find it? Here's what has happened, I made a dvd iso from devede. These are old videos of the family that I pulled off a broken camera (not to old), after making the iso I let things go for a while. My son then erased the video from the hard drive, I am out of dvds and I would like the videos back. That is why I am trying to open an iso. Thank you Jonnynitro138 |
I can't test it right now but a common ISO image of a typical dvd should be able to be mounted either automatically in opensuse or as noted above with a mount command.
Mount point is a location. New distro's tend to mount that type of media in /media so you'd create a directory in /media that made sense to you. Example would be /media/myvid/ as in mkdir /myvid while in the /media subfolder. |
