Is Visual Studio in Linux???

Hi,
I used to work on Visual C++ from MS Visual Studio on MS Windows, is there something like that on linux or we have to write c++ program in text editor?

Yep, and it's completly free. If you are using KDE try kdevelop. In gnome you have Anjuta. Also, qt disigner might be of some interest to you. All are excelent and compairable to visual studio. I can know, I have worked with it.

Hello greats ones,

I was having the extenal modem and working just fine. Tried to install additional external USB modem at other port (/dev/input/ttyACM0) several times and removed several times.

Now this external modem doesnot work. On activation, some lights blink and the modem doesnot activate. I tried wvdialconf etc., deleting and reinstalling the modem, PC turning off & on (Windows habits) but the same results.

Help!!!

Emacs in syntax highlight mode is the mother of all development IDEs. It has context sensitive highlighting, auto indentation and provides 'mule' output (which means it gives you no more, no less than the stderr from attempting to compile).

Oh, and I guarantee it's much faster than anything from KDE and GNOME.

I like vi too BTW.
