Is there software to install to hover over images and enlarge them?

I'm currently deleting a whole mess of picture I have on my computer. Some I can see from the thumbnail. Others are too small and I want to see them without having to click it, opening a whole new window just to X it out. Essentially, is there something I can install that will do the same thing as hoverzoom does in Chrome and Firefox?
