Is there any "Voice Commander" around?
Hi there!!!
I was wondering if there's any "voice commander" like program for Linux where you can execute commands with, indeed, your voice/mic. I've tried to google it, but did not find anything like that... Any help would be great. Thanks |
Megaman's friend: "Hey Megaman, you heard the latest Creed song?"
Megaman: "Yeah, what a bunch of trash" Computer: "Executing rm -rf / * " Megaman: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO :D |
hahah :). Yeah, could be dangerous in this case :) But I kinda liked the Voice Commander back in Win3.1 :) I felt like Batman :). I really wanna this toy for Linux :(

Sphinx
Sphinx by cmu [google it] is your best bet, very complicated but well worth the effort, lol u could help me get it running properly, so far i have it listening to a limited american lm [language module] running basically as a demo, it does require some programming / building to get it to say "batman" level but from what i've seen so far it has great potential! shinx 2 is more stable at the moment but 3 is out... check the site.

Thanks a lot my friends Loki_VA and RVK. I will check them all ;). Can't wait to say "Computer - Internet" :) I think I've to stop downloading and watching Batman TAS. Anyway, for games it could be useful as well, as Game Commander :).
Thanks again |
I think I saw somewhere that IBM's via voice program (not free or open source) runs on Linux.
