Cool Is there an MP3 player daemon out there ?

Do you know of a good mp3 player daemon that could be started and just play mp3s from a playlist or dir ?

Basicaly I would like to log into a linux computer via ssh and then start the daemon , choose the song/playlist log out and it must keep playing until I log in again and tell it to stop.

Like thermite_1033 said, I also use xmms for any music files available.

.mp3 file format is very well supported by this software, but you can also play .wav .ogg and others.

Cheers
