is there a wireless keyphrase finder for ubuntu

i am using ubuntu ultimate edition 1.8 (based on ubuntu hardy 8.04)
i am just about to move house and my mum wants us all to not have the internet. without our own router and key i wont be able to access it ever again!!
however i think i have heard of programs that can trace the packets going back and forth from a wireless network and find the key.
i i could do this i would never have to go without internet again

does anyone know of such a program?
(if it is on windows i can make do)

Unfortunately your questions go against LQ policy, so I am afraid this thread is closed. I think you should negotiate with your mum and have your own legitimate internet connection. Hope that goes well for you.
