Is there a decent Linux video editor available?

Ive downloaded cineralla and the install source is broke, after downloading it from several different places and trying to install it I get an error that is unrecoverable. Cant post it, sorry.
I tried KDenlive and I cannot find one lib it needs, It starts up and runs but when I try to move a video clip to the time bar nothing happens. Are there any other video editors for Linux? I googled and could not find much else. Thanks.

As for Cinelerra, i would grab a rpm and "rpm2targz" for slackware and then hand install it that way. It always worked for me. Other than Cinelerra, there is Kino, Broadcast 2000 (old), Jahshaka, Mainactor (Commercial) and then there is the Apple products for linux that cost a lot for home use - i think the program is called Shake.

If you need help, i can post a link to a Cinelerra download that has been built and already been rpm2targz. I also have a couple Cinelerra builds for 64bit if you need those as well.

Adam.

Yea that would be cool if you could post that link. I did get it to work somehow but I think its not 100% useable. I tried playing around with it and it not working, at least what I am doing is not working. Thanks.

Hey, i know it's been a while but do you still need that build? I think rpm2targz would work fine for you but i can post it on my ftp if you need it. PM me if you still need help with this.
