Is it possible to remove and re-install YAST in SUSE VER 8?

Hello,

Is it possible to remove and re-install YAST in SUSE VER 8?
I updated my box with the latest security patch update with the YAST online-update service and since I cannot use YAST does anybody know of a way to uninstall YAST so I can re-install it.

Thanks!

If you insert the DVD you will find a lot of rpm files on it - that's where the software packets
are in. YaST is in some of them, just click such a file in KDE, and it should come up with an
installation menu, provided this doesn't use YaST. If it does, you're stuck with the command
line, I believe it's something like rpm -uvF mypacket.rpm. I doubt however that this will solve
your problem. You should rather downgrade the packet(s) you have updated.
