Both xine and mplayer allow me to watch as many videos as I want, you just have to start a new instance of the program, ie: open xine, start the video, open another xine, start another video etc etc

Let me rephrase the original post. I just want to get multiple instances of kaffeine, or gmplayer running, but it doesn't seem to work. I can run multiple videos via mplayer, or via xine through the console, but I can't do the same thing via one of the gui front-ends.

Is there a way to get multiple instances of xine with the gui frontend running? Am I missing something really obvious here?
