is it possible to get into a directory that has been mounted with something else?

Hi!

I need to take a look into a directory that is used to handle a partition from a disk controller, but I need to see the files that are in that directory as they are on the local partition and not the array.

Is that even possible?

Unmount the array. Move the files elsewhere, remount the array.

Unmounting was not an option, trust me. :-) I did manage to see the files I needed, though:
